Compatibility
Engine, SDK, Launcher and transport versions evolve independently. A game package must declare its tested combination.

Forward compatibility
Ignore unknown additive manifest fields. The SDK preserves raw JSON for extended sections while validating critical contract fields.
Changing Unity
Another major/LTS line requires full graphics, input, WebSocket, Linux player and projector QA.
